E Business or E Commerce:

E business and e commerce are the terms which are sometimes used interchangeably but both terms are different and that difference today's companies. Both e stands for "electronic networks" which describes the electronic technology networks. This includes internet and electronic data interchange (EDI) to improve the business process.


E commerce which includes buying and selling goods over the internet.It covers outward facing processes that touch customers, suppliers, including sales.marketing,purchasing a raw materials,and supplies for productions such as office supplies.This involves new business models which give the new competitor to gain revenue or loss to existing revenue.





Some of the examples of e commerce are: an individual purchase a book from internet,a business buys office supplies online or through electronic action,an individual withdraws money from ATM, a government employee reserves a hotel room from internet etc.There are different types of e commerce solutions :
1)Business to Business  B2B e commerce
2)Business to Consumer B2C e commerce
3)Consumer to business  C2B e commerce
4)Consumer to Consumer C2C e commerce



E Business covers online transaction and also extend to all the internet based interactions with the suppliers, business partners,and customers such as selling direct to consumer,suppliers manufacturer monitoring and exchanging the information.E business strategy is more complex more focused on internal process,it aimed at cost savings and improvement in productivity and efficiency.E business strategy is also more difficult to execute with four different integration , vertically between web front and back end system,laterally between customer and company ,horizontally among e commerce interprize resource planning (ERP),customer relationship management (CRM), supply and knowledge management.

Companies should have e commerce strategy and government should have e public service strategy.It is very important for the firms electronic network and internet if they want to  make relationship with the customers, partners and suppliers.Many of the companies need to beyond the e commerce strategy and e business strategy which are mostly large companies.These big companies are likely to experience the organizational pain which the conflicts develop among their EDI, ERP,e commerce strategies and supply chain management. In the end they will have enough experience and knowledge in electronic network  technologies and process redesign. This help the business to be successful in an e business strategy.
